About this Event
Join the Community for Wasaga Beach’s Remembrance Day Ceremony
The Town of Wasaga Beach invites everyone to gather at Town Hall for the annual Remembrance Day Ceremony.
Each year, on the 11th day of the 11th month, at the 11th hour, Canadians pause together to remember the bravery, service, and sacrifice of those who have served—and continue to serve—the country. It’s a moment to reflect on the freedoms enjoyed today and the price that was paid to protect them.
The ceremony will include wreath-laying, a moment of silence, and words of remembrance as the community comes together to honour those who served in war, conflict, and peacekeeping.
Residents, families, veterans, and visitors are encouraged to take part in this meaningful tradition of remembrance. Together, let’s stand in gratitude and ensure their courage and legacy are never forgotten.
