Owner of Kettlewells, your go-to shop for unique pieces, bespoke florals and styling support.

My journey began when I was quite young growing up on Baby Point in the west end of Toronto amongst classic architectural homes and their furnishings. My first job at 16 years old was in a local flower shop and it was there the seed was planted. My 17-year floral career was influenced by some of the greatest designers in Toronto.

The next 17-year chapter of my life threw me into the field of sales and marketing after which I retired and found my new home in Collingwood in 2006.

The movie Calendar Girls filmed in Kettlewell, England said it so well;

“The flowers of Yorkshire are like the women of Yorkshire. Every stage of their growth has its own beauty, but the last phase is always the most glorious”

Well, that always stayed with me and with a leap of faith, a passion for the classics and flowers I opened Kettlewells in 2015 and then purchased the property in 2018. I absolutely love taking my trailer across Canada and the US handpicking pieces and bringing them home to share with you.

I really believe no home should be pigeonholed into a certain style and my shop will give you the courage and inspiration to find your authentic you. Coming to Kettlewells is an experience beyond shopping. Come and play with colour, texture, patina and pieces with a story.
